Can we just turn up

No, you need to book your paintball, tank paintball and laser combat games in advance to ensure that we can accommodate your group without the risk of double booking. In order to book your game, please contact us (details on the contact us page) stating the date you wish to play paintball, tank paintball or laser combat and the number of players in your group.

Your booking will be provisionally held for 10 days. In order to confirm and secure the reservation, you should complete the booking form and return it to us within 10 days of your phone call together with a deposit of £10 per player.

No deposits - No game.

Do we mix in with other groups

Paintball

Yes. We run games of up to 50/60 paintball players unless you have 40+ players in which case you have the game to yourself. Unlike every other site we know of and to ensure you get the chance to shoot all your friends as well as some strangers we mix you and your group around -either by having odd versus even numbers or we have one third of the total group defending a position (i.e. The Fort) against the other two thirds.

BFL Combat

We need 10 players to get a game going. Smaller groups can be linked in with booked games. If you only want to play with your group you need 20+ players.

Tank Paintball

We need 8 players to get a game going, 12 players max. To have an exclusive game you need 12 players.

Does paintball hurt

If you are shot at very close range by a paintball it does sting -it's enough to give you the incentive to not to get shot by another paintball! But not enough to put you off your game of paintball (unless you have a very, very low pain threshold).

If you are concerned about getting shot by paintballs, you might like to consider playing Battle Field Live Combat instead which uses infra red guns.

Is it safe

Paintball

Yes. Paintball is as safe as any active participant sport can be. Providing that you observe the basic safety regulations, the worst you will end up with is a few scratches and bruises. We have and have every intention of keeping an extremely good safety record.

BFL Combat

You are not being hit by anything as in paintball. The key thing is watch where you are going. Running around a wood without due care can lead to falls and collisions.

Tank Paintball

Your tank has a roll bar and you are well strapped in. The game area is relatively flat terrain with obstacles scattered around for cover. You are protected by the bodywork and the paintball screen as well as wearing a paintball mask and hood.

We do recommend you wear sensible footwear for running around a woodland environment.

All our activities are supervised and there is always a trained first aider on site.

Is the game affected by the weather

Conditions do not affect our activities in the slightest. Many say "the worse the weather - the better the fun". You may get wet while playing paintball but you won't notice -the excitement and adrenaline more than compensate for inclement weather conditions. Don't forget, while you're not playing paintball you'll be in the weatherproof safe zones and there is always a hot cup of tea or coffee waiting back at the admin area for everyone.

What do you need to bring

We strongly recommend that you play in a comfortable pair of boots or trainers. Old sweatshirts and jeans are sufficient to be worn under our overalls and a pair of gloves is advisable to cover your hands. If you want to look like a veteran paintball player to psyche out the opposition, bring your own combat kit. Also bring a change of clothing for the journey home.

Bring some food as we only have choc bars for sale

What is provided

Off road parking, all weather safety zones, ladies and gents toilets, tables and benches for 90 people in our admin area. Trench system, Bridge Assault, The Fort, Village, Jungle, Cheeseburger Slope, Speedball as well as Flag games. The paintball and laser combat games are played in dense/open woodland (See our mission map).

All our paintball and laser combat scenarios are being added and/or upgraded each year, for more information about our paintball and laser combat game areas see our "Missions" page. Every paintball player is issued with - Proto mask, hood, overalls, A5 semi-automatic paintball gun, belt and ammo pouch and team armband.

Goggles are cleaned and demisted prior to each game for you to ensure you see clearly, throughout the day.

Who can play

Paintball

Anyone 14 years of age (14 and 15 year olds require parents consent) who has a sense of adventure can play paintball. If bruising or physical exertion could result in a medical problem (skin conditions, heart/respiratory problems etc), paintball and laser combat may not be the sports for you.
